Spesifikasi tablet Excite Toshiba WiFi Only adalah RAM 1 GB, kamera belakang resolusi 5 MP, 2 Mega pixel kamera depan. Tablet Excite Toshiba 13 inchi memiliki ketebalan 0.4 inchi, berat 2.2 pon atau 1.1 kilogram mengusung resolusi layar 1600x900 dan daya tahan baterai 13 jam.
Tablet Toshiba Excite layar 10 inchi memiliki ketebalan 0.35 inchi, berat 1.32 pon dengan resolusi layar 1280x800 dengan baterai berdaya tahan 10 jam.

Marketing Produk Toshiba, Young Bae, mengatakan menurut ArsTechnica bahwa produk Tablet Toshiba Thrive memiliki pasar yang spesial dimana dua pertiga tablet Thrives terjual pada pengguna berusia lebih dari 55 tahun, menurut hasil survei pembeli Thrive.
